In honor of Thirsty Thursday, I am going to start posting a recipe for my favorite drinks every week. This weeks drink is a Sparkling Pear Cocktail from Cooking Light. I made this for Thanksgiving and they were delicious. Plus, it’s the easiest recipe to make.
1 1/3 cups sparkling wine (I used Andre Champagne)
2/3 cup pear liqueur (such as Poire Williams), chilled
Pear Slices, optional
Combine wine and liqueur and add in pear slices if desired.
Yield: Serves 4 (1/2 cup servings)
And it’s as easy as that. Drink up, my friends!
So not only was I offline because of Hurricane Sandy, my computer now has a virus and I need a new one. That’s why I have has such a lack of posts lately. Well, I’ve hijacked my sisters computer for the night so I can stay connected and I figured it was time to talk about these AMAZING new Pop Tart flavors.
I must say, I haven’t eaten a Pop Tart in about 10 years but that doesn’t mean I don’t remember how good they were. And now they have come out with holiday Pop Tarts… Drool! My favorite part is that you can eat them for any meal. They sound and look amazing and I felt like now was the time to share them with the world!

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of posts. This is actually my first time on a computer since last Monday. I’ve been out of power for almost 6 days 😦 It sucks but at least that’s the worst of my problems. We didn’t have any damage and everyone in my neighborhood is OK. I live in North Jersey so it wasn’t as bad as the shore.
